Why I volunteer for the Shepherd Home

Over the years I have been involved with a number of volunteer organizations, including the Association For The Blind and Visually Impaired, Rochester United Way, Local Government Committee, The National Council of Physical Distribution, Penfield Lions Club and various other organizations and committees. I'm committed to helping Penfield continue be a great place to live, work and raise a family and I'm pleased to be able to work with organizations like Shepherd Home to help provide an important service to our community. I first became involved with Shepherd Home by gathering support for construction of our building and worked closely with the general contractor, volunteers and donors to complete the project in June of 2005 through donated funds, materials and services.
